DANCE: Dance and music combine tonight in “Another Thousand Mountains.” This show, which comes from the mind of choreographer Barbara Lindenberg, consists of short dramatic dances that explore topics like emotional isolation and helplessness. The Music Gallery (197 John Street), runs February 21 and 22, 8 p.m., $12 advance, $15 door.
COMEDY: Egg Zeppelin is back. On the agenda for this installment of the improvised “Bacon, Music, and Comedy” talk show are appearances by guest Toby Berner (Primo, Urban Improv), comedian Precious Chong, and musician Kristen Cudmore. This is a third-anniversary show, so be prepared to laugh three times as hard. Comedy Bar (945 Bloor Street West), 8 p.m., $12.
PARTY: In celebration of the Drake Hotel’s nine-year anniversary, the management is throwing a big bash called To The Nines. The event, which is taking over the entire building, features a night of dancing and live music, including performances by Rich Aucoin, River Tiber, Jane’s Party, Sandman Viper Command, Michael Rault, and DJ Fase. Drake Hotel (1150 Queen Street West), 9 p.m.–2 a.m., $9.
